Bennetts British Superbike Championship, Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship and British Truck Racing Championship to name just a few! High profile, not to be missed events in the calendars of fans worldwide, and that take place just 5 miles down the round from Anglian HQ at the MotorSport Vision Ltd.’s (MSV Group) Snetterton Circuit.
Wednesday 6th December 2023 will go down as a day several of us won’t forget in a hurry as we gathered, on a cold and frosty Norfolk morning at the Snetterton Race Circuit to witness the delivery of 120 bespoke wheelie bins fresh from the Contenur UK factory production line!

Looking to improve their sustainability and recycling rates, the partnership between Snetterton and Anglian will mean that any waste collected from the circuit will be taken a few short miles up the A11 for sorting and segregation meaning that the majority of what is collected will not enter landfill. Anglian will in turn produce monthly waste reports to enable Snetterton to see how much of the waste is being recycled, what is going to landfill and where further improvements can be made.

The partnership will also look to adding additional waste collection streams to enable the circuit to segregate mixed recycling, such as cardboard, glass and some plastics, and food waste further which will help to decrease the amount going to landfill.
Whilst the reduction in truck miles and emissions decreases significantly, using a local service provider goes some way to assist Snetterton with their corporate social responsibility and biodiversity objectives. Anglian are also looking to take a step further by supporting the circuit’s tree planting scheme by donating several British native saplings which will be planted in their dedicated wilding area.
Ryan Marshall, Director of Waste & Recycling for Anglian commented:
“Here at Anglian, we are so excited to partner with MSV with such a great venue as The Snetterton Circuit. The partnership will allow for a collaboration that will result in reducing the environmental footprint of the circuit by reducing the vehicle miles associated with the waste collection services, along with improvements in recycling rates. It is another great partnership between two local businesses that is great for the environment but also the local economy.”
